REQUEST FOR BIDS
The Dentsville Volunteer EMS, Fire and Auxiliary Inc. is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide
professional architectural design and engineering services for the construction of a Pole Barn building.
The Dentsville Volunteer EMS, Fire and Auxiliary was founded in 1998. The first due area covers about
60 square miles. For the last 20+ years the department has operated as a Rescue Squad primarily but
has since become a full-service Fire and EMS Department. Due to this service expansion an additional
structure needs to be erected to accommodate more apparatus and additional personnel. The
department has concluded that constructing a second structure on the property in lieu of renovating
and expanding its current station provides the best operational and investment value.
The Scope of Services shall include complete design and consulting services for the duration of the
Project,
including but not limited to:
• Familiarization with and evaluation of the existing site and structures
• Needs analysis and project programming
• Schematic design with preliminary cost estimating
• Design development with refined cost estimating
• Construction drawings and specifications with a final cost estimate
• Project approvals
• Bidding support
The deadline to submit a proposal is no later than April 2nd, 2024.
To request a bid package, please email President15@dvemsfd.org.
